Has anyone experienced problems with the console connection to a PIX running version 6.3(1) freezing on them? I have two PIXs running 6.3(1) that will intermittently freeze the console connection on me.

If I remember correctly, there was a problem with the Console hanging under certain situations such as after write mem or with syslog configured. However, these problems were seen in older versions of the PIX OS and I did not see a similar problem documented for 6.3(1). Your problem might simply be due to your PIX being overloaded. You could also check your console speed settings.
