This is not possible on a 506, you'd need to upgrade to a 515 to get a third interface.

I have a PIX 506E firewall, this device have only two ethernet interface : one for the lan and the other one for the internet. I would like to add a third interface on the PIX without having to change my PIX. So my question is : can I configure a sub-interface on this PIX, so that it behave exactly like a 515 PIX.

my goal is to add a DMZ interface, for a web server.

If it's possible, is that secure or not ?
