Does PIX 520 support PDM and DHCP client?

Hi folks,

I just got a PIX 520 and it has ver 4.3.(good lord!) and i was wondering what version of the IOS is required to support PDM if it does. As well as acting as a DHCP client for the outside interface..reason being that I would like to use this behind a cable modem.

Hi,

PDM support comes from ver 6.x and higher, try to bring your 520 to 6.3.3. But you may not have enough flash, the current flash may be only 2MB. but 6.x requires 16 MB.

Many thanks ........ what about DHCP client support for the outside interface?......... I know you can get it with 501 and 506 models.
