topic Police output from web server in Network Security

Hello I would like to police the output from a web server.

Requests are made from external to port 80 and I would like to limit what can be requested to 50Mb/s, however i'm not sure whether to put this setting on the outside on inside interface for policing?

If i place it on the interface i cannot be specific in terms of ports. Unless i use the source port instead? Is this correct?

I also only want to limit outside requests; not requests from other internal networks (ie DMZ).

Could someone pleaes provide an example.

Thanks.

This link will help you:

QoS configuration: https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-1230

We cannot control what comes into the outside interface as they just arrive. We can only control what leaves the interface. Seems like this is what you like done.

-KS
