Use with these parameters:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;trap&amp;#151;Only traps will be sent. This host will not be allowed to poll.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;poll&amp;#151;Traps will not be sent. This host will be allowed to poll. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The default allows both traps and polls to be acted upon."&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So, although polls should be allowed, I would try allowing *only* polls.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What version of code are you using on your 525?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-Bryan&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi !&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can anyone tell me how to enable SNMP on a PIX 525 ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am sitting on VLAN203 and configured the following:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;snmp-server host vlan203 xxx.xxx.203.254&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;snmp-server community x26193RO&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;snmp-server enable traps&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;but using "snmpwalk" (from 172.23.203.254) I do NOT get an answer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I do NOT have any access-list in place, yet !&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thx&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hans&lt;/P&gt;</description>
