      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have question regarding how to backup an IOS image of PIX firewall.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can only save the config but not the FOS !&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Save config:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Save a copy of the configuration running on your PIX Firewall to use as a backup if you decide to restore your pre-downgrade configuration. You can use the write net command to store the current configuration in a file elsewhere on the network through your TFTP server. The syntax for this command is &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;write net [[server_ip]:[filename]].&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Available commands:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A class="jive-link-custom" href="http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/secursw/ps2120/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a0080089cf6.html" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/secursw/ps2120/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a0080089cf6.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
