Hi

how do you store events on an asa-ssm-20 to a syslog server or some external place to keep for logging purposes. I would assume the module itself can only hold a certain amount of logs until it overwrites itself ?

Stef

You can use any SDEE client (such as IME) to retrieve and store all the events.

https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-12515

And Yes, the events are stored in a circular buffer, hence the oldest one would be overwritten once the buffer is full.

Regards,

Sawan Gupta
