IME 7.2.1 Error Message

Hi Folks,

I've recently installed IPS Manager Express. The installation appears to go fine, but I am getting the following error message when I try to run the application:

"Exception when initializing the connection to the MySQL server."

IME will then fail to load.

I have the IME installed on a Windows 7 box and a Server 2008 box. Both give the same error message. I also have the application installed on Windows XP box, and that is working fine. I've downgraded to version 7.1.1 on both the Windows 7 and Server 2008 machines, but no luck. Same error message.

During a search for a solution, I've come accross several posts that suggest that this error will occur on unsupported OS such as Windows 7. However, the support documentation lists Windows 7 and Server 2008 as supported operating systems, so don't think this is correct.

Is this a known bug? Any help is greatly appreciated.

IME 7.2.1 works on Windows 7 , This is not a Bug.

No Idea about the error .
