If you plug a terminal into the console, do you see any tracebacks or other messages when it reboots? 100 messages per second will be putting quite a load on the PIX, does a "sho block" command indicate you're running out of memory blocks?

If you see a traceback message then open a TAC case and attach this output to the case and the TAC will be able to figure it out for you.

The PIX is reloading every day or two at different times. I am running version 6.1.4 with a gig of ram. As far as I can see, the only thing that could be cause the choke is the level of logging. I am currently logging informational to a syslog server. Every second there must be about 100 messages. This bug was known for earlier versions but was supposed to fixed by 6.1.4

Is there anyone else with the same issue?
