topic PIX memory usage 100% in Network Security

What happens when your PIX uses 100% of its memory, will the PIX stop accepting connections and appear "locked up"? My PIX runs with an average of 12MB of free memory and recently it locked up for no apparent reason. It is a 515-R running v6.2(2), there were no config changes recently and this PIX has been running for just over a year with no issues. Any insight would be helpful.

TIA

When did you do the upgrade? How long is your config?

I have also seen boxes freeze up due to overheating?
