    <description>&lt;P&gt;we have an &lt;SPAN style="background-color: #f8fafd;"&gt;ASA 5520 &amp;amp; 5540. my understanding says the connection limit on 5520 is around 120000 connections.Please correct if this is wrong.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="background-color: #f8fafd;"&gt;got certain doubts on connection limits:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="background-color: #f8fafd;"&gt;- does this mean limit on tcp or udp or both&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="background-color: #f8fafd;"&gt;- what happens if it exceeds the limt, drops the connections or hangs the firewall&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="background-color: #f8fafd;"&gt;- any way to check what is the max limit and the current usage on the firewall&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="background-color: #f8fafd;"&gt;Thanks in advance!&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;For ASA 5520, the maximum connections are 280,000 (inc. all traffic).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To check for the current connections: show conn count&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Here is the specs on ASA series:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A class="jive-link-external-small" href="http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6120/prod_models_comparison.html"&gt;http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6120/prod_models_comparison.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope that helps.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
