    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do you mean "will traffic be wide-open or closed-shut through the PIX in the event of a power failure"?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;No traffic will get through any layer-3 networking device that I'm aware of if it has no power, including the PIX.  &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
