Dear Sir/Madam

We have cisoc sensro 4255 the OS version 2.4.30-IDS-smp-bigphys and virus update is Virus Update V1.4 .Please lt me know is there any upgrade avliable for the OS version and also the Virus version .

Secondly the Cisco Intrusion Prevention System, Version is 6.2(1)E3i have seenthat there is Global Coreelation releae . What are the additinla feature .

Do ineed to upgrade any hardware if i have to upgrade it to Global Correlation

You can upgrade your 4255 software. Version 7.x has the global corrolation feature you were asking about.

You do not need to upgrade your hardware.

There are no seperate virus updates, these are included in the signature updates.

Do not worry if the Virus version looks old, that is normal. (you can search the forum threads for several discussions on why that is the case)
