    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have inserted one IDSM-2 into Catalyst 6509.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I key in command "intrusion-detection module 8 data-port 1 trunk allowed-vlan 10 -11" at switch level&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My question as below,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is data-port 1 = G8/1 at switch level?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is data-port 2 = G8/2 at switch level&amp;nbsp; ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thks in advanced.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Steven Hoo&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm not sure if the IDSM dataports have 6500 interface assignments (they might).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can see their traffic with the switch command:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;show intrusion-detection module 9 data-port 1 traffic&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and status (showing what VLANS are mapped to waht dataport channel)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;show intrusion-detection module 9 data-port 1 state&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Or if you were in the IDSM, data-port 1 and 2 appear as&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;physical-interface GigabitEthernet0/7&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;physical-interface GigabitEthernet0/8&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- Bob&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
