It is true that you currently will need to have 2 seperate machines to manage the IDSs and PIX.

Don't hold your breath for v3.0 to come out soon.

Hi all,

my customer has 1 PIX firewall with a CSPM 2.3.3f.

Now we have to evaluate an IDS System.

I've read that i need 2.3.3i to manage Cisco IDS Sensor. Do you know if a unique version exist?

CSPM 3.0 solves my problem?

Thank you

I see 2.3.3i in the download section of the software center. 3.0 should also work when it comes out. Here’s a link to the release notes: http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/ismg/policy/ver23i/rn23i.htm
