      <title>IDSM-2 re-image issue</title>

Actually I dont know the password for the administrator account and re-image was only option according to documentation.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;It looks like your commands and the image file are correct.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Did you boot the IDSM into the maintenance partition before you started?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;from the router:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;hw-module module (module number) reset cf:1&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;after upgrading reboot the IDSM into the application partition:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;from the router:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;hw-module module (module number) reset hdd:1&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;It looks like you are following the instructions for installing an IDSM system image in this guide:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/ips/6.0/configuration/guide/cli/cliImage.html#wp1031992"&gt;http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/ips/6.0/configuration/guide/cli/cliImage.html#wp1031992&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you have performed each step as described and are still getting this error message, you might want to open a TAC case on your IDSM.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If your IDSM is defective, they can RMA it (assuming you have a maintainence contract).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- Bob&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
