      <title>PIX failover problem</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;We have 2 PIX 515s, each with 4 ifs - outside, inside, dmz, and private connected between the two. If we run the primary PIX by itself, it works fine. When we connect the secondary and bring it up, both may work for a while, but then it will hang. Any ideas?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Make sure the failover cable is connected ok.  I had the same problem and it turned ot the Primary end of the cable was plugged into the Secondary PIX.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I had the exact same problem.  This was a known ethernet controller issue and we got two "new" boxes from Cisco.  When yours arrive, look closely at the paint on the covers, ours clearly had been touched up and/or refurbed units.   Nonetheless, they worked!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
