Hello everyone.

I have strange problem with ASA5525.

ADSM periodically asks for relogging on already authenticated session (user/password input window pops up). The behavior is completely random. Sometimes it happens within several minutes of inactivity, sometimes not even after hours.

Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance Software Version 9.4(4)18
Device Manager Version 7.9(2)152

What would be causing this?

Have you discard any connectivity problems? If the user is authentication is not timing out (show uauth), the only thing that comes to mind is that the connection to the ASDM is lost and then you have to authenticate again.

I would have a syslog server logging everything and then check when it asks you to authenticate again and see if the SSL session got deleted.

Thank you for the reply.
Connectivity problems are ruled out, simultaneous CLI connection is up and well. I also think this has to do with HTTPS session timing out. Is there any configurable keepalive service in ASA OS for ASDM sessions?
