Cant reach the host connected to subinterface on ASAv 9.8

Here is my configuration and i cant reach the host which is directly connected to the interface G0/2

int g0/1

nameif outside

ip add 10.1.1.2 255.255.255.0

no shut

int g0/2

no nameif

no ip address

no security-level

what is that device connected to g0/2, from what source you try to ping ? what is the IP address device connected to Gi0/2

apart from that interface not belong to any group ?

- its ubuntu vm with ip add 151.15.2.6/24 - gateway 151.15.2.1

apart from that interface not belong to any group ?

i dint get this question...

151.15.2.6 from what source device IP you try to ping this Linux box. where is this Gateway IP configured 151.15.2.1 (on ASA ?)

gi 0/2 not belong to any group ( i mean inside / outside ) ? any reason ?

Sorry, i found the mistake i made. that was vlan tagging on my ubuntu machin. i used iosv l2 switch and created a vlan 2 on it and then i can reach firewall. thanks for early response.
