PDM and PIX software 6.21

Hello,

I wanted to know when I upgrade the software on the PIX from 6.13 to 6.21 ,should I load the PDM software or is it that PDM software gets downloaded along with 6.21.

Also for the remote management of the PIX through VPN tunnel what are the things that has to be configured on the PIX .

You will need to download and install the PDM seperately.

I'm not familiar with VPN/Remote management settings, but the 2.0 version of PDM now has a tab for making some VPN settings.

The PDM software and PIX image are to seperate downloads. They are loaded into 2 different areas of flash.

If you download 6.2 you will want to download PDM 2.0.

There is a Wizard in PDM 2.0 that should help you configure your VPN Tunnel.

I am not able to see PDM 2.0 in the software center.

I don't know whether it is released or not .Can you please confirm

CISCO have removed PDM 2.0 from software center
