Hi all

Can anyone tell me how fast the cisco asa can be configured to failover automatically?

and also, If I type in no failover active on the primary, how fast will it failover?

cheers

Carl

If you type "no failover active" on the active unit, it will failover immediately to the standby firewall.

Here is the timeout value for different types of automatic failover for your information:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/asa/asa80/configuration/guide/failover.html#wp1148472

Hope that helps.
