I am not sure if Smartfilter or Websense. I would guess they shoul but I haven't done it

I know Ironport engine will do it.

Also, ASAs can also leverage CSC-SSM whose latest version supports AD and will log blocked usernames.

I hope it helps.

PK

Hi all,

I'm looking for a contentfilter (e.g. smartfilter, websense) with user authentication through active directory with single sign on.

Here why:

One of my customers wants a solution the can track down URL e.g by username

(reporting like AD login name has visited the site www.xy.com and downloaded 10MB).

My idea would be to use smartfilter or websense with the ASA and do a single sign on authentication on the contentfilter so the username

and not the IP can be tracked down.

Is it possible? Who has done such an environment? Any ideas?

Thanks and greets,

Norbert
