I heard it only works in (Transparent mode) function, which means no NAT/PAT and VPNs. Is that true or not? Can you please guide me to a link?

Correct, no reverse lookup in MAC table in routed (layer 3) mode.

Transparent firewall does support NAT now, but still no VPN termination support for transparent firewall.

NAT support in transparent firewall:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/asa/asa82/configuration/guide/nat_overview.html#wp1078175
