Hi:

I hope you're doing fine, and happy new year by the way. For this case I need your help because we need to know what are the maximum threshold values for a CISCO ASA i mean for example if I had an ASA at 40 % of memory that could be a problem? or at what level we can consider it a problem.

I googling but I only found this:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/vpndevc/ps6032/ps6094/ps6120/product_data_sheet0900aecd802930c5.html

but in that document I only found the maximum values for VPN Connections, Concurrent connections, Maximum Firewall and IPS Throughput

Regards.

Luis Carranza

Hello,

Here is a document which compares various h/w models of ASA series and will answer most of your questions:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6120/prod_models_comparison.html

Also, for most ASA platforms, 40% is not bad, per CPU usage.

HTH

Vijaya
