Upgrading ASDM for FWSM using CLI

hello,

My ASDM 6.1 (3)Fin FWSM is not loading at all. It authenticates but does not load the ASDM

I tried 3 different systems, downgraded Java version as well as used ASDM-IDM launcher, it will try to load but ASDM will never load

I am trying to upgrade the ASDM in FWSM to fix the issue

All the cisco articles says about upgrading from ASDM but not upgrading using CLI

I could find many articles for upgrading ASDM using CLI for ASA/PIXs but not for FWSM

Please let me know how i can accomplish this

What is your FWSM version? You would need to upload the supported ASDM image to the FWSM first. Just copy the asdm image for fwsm via CLI from a tftp server:

copy tftp flash:asdm
