ip to name resolution

Hi,

We are using a Cisco ASA/ASDM router/vpn 5500/6.2. Also a big IP in our environment.

Recently I added a pool and Virtual IP for one of our web url into BIG-IP version 12.1.2 Build 0.0.249 We are able to access the url using the IP address but not able to access using the name.

192.168.10.14 has name of dev2.oitssystem.com

So when we do https://192.168.10.14 it works, but i want to have that work when we put the name. https://dev2.oitssystem.com

Do I need to make any configuration changes in the router to make this IP to name resolution work? Please let me know.

Make sure your name server and DNS Resolution correct. add Host (A) entry in DNS Server.
