FWSM - RDP connection issues

Hi Friends,

I have configured two vlans on FWSM. Iam able to reach between both the vlans but RDP connection gets terminated.

VLAN 113 <------FWSM -----> VLAN111

10.42.13.30 ---->FWSM ----> 10.42.11.32 (trying RDP connection)

All other traffic is working fine between both the vlans except RDP. The moment i try to connect using RDP am able to connect after that it suddenly terminates.

Need your help to resolve the issue

I think you should try telneting on port 3389 (RDP port) on server 10.42.11.32 from the source. If that works fine then FWSM context configuration should be fine.

Also try doing samething from the system in the same subnet of 10.42.11.32 to verify if there is any problem with the server or RPD service on server.

If it is terminated after the same amount of idle time, then you might need to check the tcp timeouts on the FWSM also.
