When i check the failover it shows that both one asa is in active mode and the other is in passive mode.

I am able to login to the primary firewall but not able to login to secondary . The secondary firewall prompts me for the username /password but does not display anything when i give my credentials

Kindly help

Regards

Umesh

Are you trying to telnet, ssh or asdm to the standby firewall?

If it comes up with the username and password that means the connectivity is there.

If you have tried ssh, try telnet or asdm and see if that works.

-KS
