topic NAC Appliance in Network Security

I have two questions about the NAC Appliance:

1. I have understood that for every vlan access must have a vlan authentication, is there any way to minimize the amount of address for the vlan authentication, eg. if I have 4 access vlan in the same building, I have leaving a single vlan authentication

2. How much bandwidth consumes the NAC solution

thanks for your help

Hello,

You can use same auth vlan and place the users in different access vlans by using User-Role VLANs

As for bandwidth, depends on your requirements and your layout. If you're doing Inband, you're limited by 1G. For OOB, you're limited to that only for the initial authentication and posture assessment portion.

HTH,

Faisal
