topic CSM & IPS Updates in Network Security

I am just getting started with using CSM and was downloading all the IPS updates from Cisco. I have had problems with some of them having checksum errors but found I can get round it by downloading the file manually and dropping it onto the server.

So far so good - however the latest signature file has beaten me.

I get the following message "Checksum failed when downloading file IPS-CS-MGR-sig-S377-req-E3.ZIP. Operation aborted".

A search on the cisco website reveals no download location for this file so is there any method by which I can get this on the server to allow me to update it.

Thanks in advance

Giles

now fixed - it was a proxy server problem not allowing the x-zip mimetype to download....
