topic Migrating CSM sensor policy in Network Security

Could someone tell me if there is anything specific I should be aware of when swapping an older IPS hw (e.q. 4215) with a newer platform (4260). My sensor policy is currently managed under CSM, could I simply perform inventory discovery within the sensor record and then commit the sensor policy to a new platform?

You have the basic idea. In CSM create a policy from your current 4215 out of the configuration parts you want to share, such as the signature settings. Then add your new sensor and apply the shared policy. Save and deploy.
