When running two ASAs as Active/Standby; is there a way to have two different management addresses using two different networks?

(In a failure each ASA should keep its mgmt address. Basically exclude the mgmt interface from config synchronization.)

Thanks

Joe

yes you can have both devices on different management address and exclude from failover monitor...But you can only make active configuration chaange on the active device though!

Would that require using the "standby" ip address on the mgmt interface with two different IPs but on the same subnet?

(I was hoping that the mgt interface config was not "synchronized.)

Thanks

Joe
