hello guys;

I have nac 3310 with lite manager license,

there is no any switch managment menu on the CAM.

how can i handle snmp traps from swiches without this menu?

or is any other type of development?

thnx

Hi Ehsan,

Please take another look in the CAM and let's be clear about the fact you are doing an Out-of-Band implementation of NAC.

Look for Switch Management-->Profiles.

You can use the default profile and add your first switch. You must then add a switch profile for each model of Cisco switch you manage.

Make sure that you configure the switch model, the SNMP port, and the SNMP read/write community strings to match the configuration on each switch.

Hope this helps.

Best,

Paul

Sounds like the same problem I had. I opened a TAC case and I was issued a new license. Both licenses need to be associated to the MAC address of the CAM. I had one associated to the CAS and one to the CAM. I understand it is a pretty common problem.
