ASA latest version

Dear all,

My ASA version as followinf:

Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance Software Version 7.2(2)

Device Manager Version 5.2(2)

So, if you please, can you tell me what is the latest ASA version?

And how i can get this version?

And what is its size on the flash?

As my flash is as following:

Primary-ASA-Plant# sh flash

To answer your questions:-

So, if you please, can you tell me what is the latest ASA version? 8.2.1

And how i can get this version? - you need a valid support cco account to d/l the software

And what is its size on the flash? - you have enough space

Last question: applying new version doesn't affect the current configuration? - a few minor things will be changed.

The big question is why do you think you need to upgrade?

Thx a lot of your reply.

I have enough space to upgrade without erase old version, left the old version on the flash.

Sorry, give me example for the few minor things that will be changed after applying the new version.

I upgrade as VPN anyconnect client must work with version 8 and later.

Sorry, give me example for the few minor things that will be changed after applying the new version - I do not have the exact details, I suggest you read the upgrade notes on the specific version you will upgrade to.
