      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Imran,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Unfortunately, this is not possible. The ASA only allows you to ping the interface to which you are attached. You cannot ping an interface across the firewall--this is by design.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope that helps.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-Mike&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
