What is the difference between the 7.x and 8.x code trains? At one time I thought 7.x was geared more toward traditional firewall functions and 8.x toward VPN but I'm not sure that is still the case.

Thanks!

Mark

As far as I know 7.x and 8.x are pretty much older version and newer version. Newer version has more features added, and probably a lot of those new features are on the VPN side of things. But certainly there have also been firewall features added or upgraded in 8.x as well.

HTH

Rick
