I heard from Cisco this morning: They state "the service restart rule is not supposed to follow the State Condition." They will update the documentation.

Mark

Has anyone seen this on 5.2?: I have a service restart rule that is only to be applied when the rule module it's associated with is in a system state of medium. However, when I set security to high, and then stop the service, the service restart rule triggers anyway and restarts the stopped service. Thanks

Sounds like it might be a bug.

I see the same behavior even after resetting the system state and restarting.

Do you plan to open a TAC case?

Tom S
