      <title>IPS event log issue ?????</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am install 4255 IPS in my network.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This IPS management and monitoring by VMS. every day huge log generate.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;my question is where the log stored ? in VMS or IPS or Both. I want stored data last 15 days.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So how I remove event viwer(before 15 days) log from IPS or VMS.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Biplob&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;You are still using VMS? Does VMS support IPS 6.x? If you do not use MARS/Security Manager, I would use the IPS Event Viewer Cisco has. IEV will handle up to 5 IPS sensors. IEV can store the logs locally and do some reporting/storing.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Mike&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
