      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Shane&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"sh mode" shows you which mode the firewall is running in.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To switch between firewalls either &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1) on the current standby firewall use the command - "failover active"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;OR &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2) on the current active firewall use the command - "no failover active" &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A class="jive-link-custom" href="http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/asa/asa72/command/reference/ef_72.html#wp1759150" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/asa/asa72/command/reference/ef_72.html#wp1759150&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Jon&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
