IDS/IPS - Device selector

Hello, trying to select device from the selector pannel (for ex. to assign new snmp settings), I can't see the device name locked. It seems IDSM isn't able to lock the devices.

I have a 2.1 IDSM. Java is 1.4.2_08 like requested.

I have found another strage message. I have a basic license for 5 devices, but in the ADMIN tab, in the IDS manager, opening the license manager and the license information, i find 2 ids devices with a "expiredLicense" message. Why there's a license for each device? Is it a ciscoworks license or a device license? Thanks

Each sensor requires a license specific to the sensor.

And a separate license is required for the management software itself.

You will need service contracts for each sensor to receive licenses for the sensors (the expiration date of the license is based on the expiration date of the contracts).
