Adding static route on the sensor

Hello,

I have done some research looking around the forum, docs and could not find any details whether a static route could be added onto 4215 sensor besides the default gateway.

Is that feature not supported? Has anyone ran into similar issue?

We cant add routes on the IDS devices. Its not supported. IDS is not supposed to route any traffic, it can only send the traffic to the gateway assigned. 😞

I'm not sure what you mean by that. Adding a static route doesn't mean the IDS is suddenly acting like a router and it doesn't have security implications.

Does the IDS accept ICMP redirects?
