Im thinking you need the AIP SSM (Advanced Inspection and Prevention Security Services Module) for this, which I think you need to use 5510 or above to install...

Yes I know that the 5510 and above support this feature.

For the small SMB's the ASA 5505 ist very interesting, but they also need IPS. So I need to know when IPS is supported on the 5505?

Thanks for your feedback. I am not certain of the roadmap for IPS inclusion and will let the PM answer that.

But if you need something now, have you considered the following 2 options in Small Business portfolio?

- RVS4000 or WRVS4400N with Trend Micro protect Links GW service for Web Reputation, URL Filtering (by Category) and EMAIl Spam Prevention.

- SR520 with Signature based IPS running IOS.

The IPS module for the ASA 5505 is due out either in May or June 2009 from my understanding.
