As it is blade sitting in Cisco 6500 or 7400 series, it doesn't want an activation key. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is pretty common.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Guys,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am wonder to see the Show Version inside my FWSM showing the running Activation Key,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Running Activation Key: 0x00000000 0x00000000 0x00000000 0x00000000&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I just want to know the reason that why it is showing like this,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Another message is,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"The Running Activation Key is not set, using default settings:"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Mubasher Sultan&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Actually we have 4 FWSM &amp;amp; all running in the production &amp;amp; showing the same Running Activation Key: 0x00000000 0x00000000 0x00000000 0x00000000.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Kindly,  i don't have any issue right now but wanna know that why it is like this or may be in future i can face some issues.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any advice would be appreciate.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Mubasher &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You may get issues depending on what you want.  The activation key will unlock things like the amount of contexts you can have on your FWSM, VPN throughput etc.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
