Hi ,

I am in the process of upgrading 2 nos PIX515E 6.3(3) [one is having UNRESTRICTED LICENSE and the other one is having FAILOVER License] to 7.0,While upgrading is it necessary to have new license key?

Please claify and help me.

You do not have to change any license keys when you upgrade.

You have to remember that is the firewalls are running in a fail over pair, when you upgrade 1 firewall the fail over sync will not work until the other firewall has also been upgraded.

Could you please guide from where I can download the Cisco Configmakerfor PIX and ASA?Which will help me to design and practise the configuration.

Currently as far as I know - there is no specific automated tool for the configuration of the PIX/ASA. You do have configuration wizards in the PIX/PDM and the ASA/ASDM.
