    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Make sure you don't have 'Enable auto update MC' checked in the 'Auto download IPS updates' tab on the IDS MC.  There is a known bug (CSCsh30224) where the IDS MC fails to update itself automatically.  If you have this unchecked, let the IDS MC download a new signature pack, and then apply it manually to a sensor.  Your NSDB should then be updated.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
