Hi,

I'm not able to connect ASA thru ASDM from outside n/w the error is

"ASDM is unable to read the configuration from the ASA. please check the

configuration & your connection and then try again by clicking the refresh icon."

but able to connect from inside n/w

Did you allow your public address into the ASA?

ya all these days it was working, but all of sudden its not working 2day

Have you updated Java recently? Can you access it from a different system?

yes, i have updated the java 2day only.

below is the version i have now in my pc.

J2SE runtime env 5.0

Java(TM)6 update 11

Java(TM)6 update 7

Two things you should try:

Try from another computer that has an older version of the Java client.

Try to uninstall the update that you just installed.

Usually if ASDM doesn't work, it's because of a java update.
