    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;If I understand your question...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The default behavior for ASA and PIX is to block all traffic from the outside to the inside unless you have a static command AND an access list permitting traffic.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The default behavior for traffic going from the inside to outside interface is unrestricted as long as there is a NAT and Global statement in place.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
