Hello, I have several ASA 5505 boxes running with 256 MB RAM. In one of these, the show version command says:

Hardware: ASA5505, 210 MB RAM, CPU Geode 500 MHz

Where did the missing 46 MB RAM go?

All other boxes show as expected:

Hardware: ASA5505, 256 MB RAM, CPU Geode 500 MHz

Thanks in advance

Edi Füllemann

Katta Informatik GmbH

Thank you, this has fixed the problem.

All the other boxes have 8.0(3), this one had 8.0(3)6. After upgrade to 8.0(4) the memory is reported correctly as 256 MB.

Regards

Edi
