Hi,

The CSC updates (ex: virus definition file) can be done right from the Trend Micro Administration GUI that runs on the CSC module itself (https://<YOUR_CSC_IP_ADDRESS>:8443). However, this does require an Internet connection (as do almost all of the features of the CSC module) so that the module can contact Trend Micro's servers and download the updates. This is done under the Administration>Updates tab.</YOUR_CSC_IP_ADDRESS>

Software upgrades (i.e. the code version that your CSC module is running) can be done without an Internet connection. You can download the latest software version from http://www.cisco.com onto a laptop, plug the laptop into the CSC's management port, and log in to the Administration GUI (https://<YOUR_CSC_IP_ADDRESS>:8443) to upload the file directly to the module. This is done under the Administration>Product Upgrade tab.</YOUR_CSC_IP_ADDRESS>

Hope that helps.

-Mike
