Its part of the database itself.</P><P></P><P>Usually, running a database backup under VPN/Security Management Solution will shrink the size of your transaction log. Its a good idea to run regular backups of your database anyway and it will shrink down your log file.</P><P></P><P>You didn't mention what version you are running but there are similar documentation links for all the IPS MC versions. I read somelese's note where they stopped the Daemon service and delted the log file. I did this then used the IdsDbCompact Utility. I again ran out of disk space and this is a 57GB drive.
